Failed-payment email CTA for WooCommerce
Give failed payments a clear way back to checkout.
Add a prominent retry-payment button to WooCommerce’s customer failed-order email. It uses WooCommerce’s own protected order-pay URL and appears only while the order can still be paid.

01 / REAL WORKFLOW
The customer returns to WooCommerce—not another platform.
The call to action opens the native order-pay screen, protected by the standard WooCommerce order key.

02 / WHY IT HELPS
Add one obvious next step to the failed-order email.
Make retrying obvious
Place a clear Try payment again button inside the customer email WooCommerce already sends.
Keep the flow native
Return eligible customers to WooCommerce order-pay to retry or choose an available method.
Add focus, not a platform
No reminder sequence, click tracking, external checkout or new order data.
03 / HOW IT WORKS
From failed order to a safe retry path.
Choose the message
Set the button label and optional supporting text in WordPress.
WooCommerce builds the email
The plugin checks that the failed order still requires payment.
Customer returns to order-pay
The button opens the native protected payment page for that order.
04 / CONTROL
Customize the action without replacing an email template.
Keep the button short, add neutral supporting text and leave the rest of the WooCommerce failed-order email intact.

05 / COMPATIBILITY
The CTA disappears when an order is no longer payable.
Before rendering, the plugin verifies the order status, amount, billing email, order key and payment URL.

Questions before you install

No. It adds the CTA to WooCommerce’s existing Customer failed order email, which must be enabled.
Does it retry the charge automatically?
No. It gives the customer a route back to WooCommerce to try again or choose another available method.
Is the payment link generated by the plugin?
No. It uses WooCommerce’s standard order-key-protected payment URL.
When does the button appear?
Only in the customer failed-order email and only while the order still requires payment and has the required payment data.
What can I customize?
The button label and optional supporting text. Both are sanitized and do not accept HTML.
Does it track customers or modify orders?
No. It tracks no clicks and adds no order data. It stores only its own WordPress settings.
